What We Do
Our main mission is to train at no cost the largest number of people (civilian population, military personnel, professionals from different sectors and first responders) who can’t afford it and are affected by the war in Ukraine in first aid techniques, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and basic life support focused on the trauma patient. We provide assistance and logistical support in different situations that require it, where people are at risk or under threat. Giving the maximum assistance possible according to our resources, competencies and capabilities.
Our Story
From Off Road First Responder, a non-profit association registered in the Generalitat of Catalonia, we have mobilized by embodying the RescueLife project, a twin brother to our original project Rescuebike, but changing the target audience: This time, we are going to train civilians and military personnel who suffer the unjust consequences of a war, thus training the civilian population as first responders, and give military personnel the skills so much needed in their line of work.
Helping Those In Risk
The war has had a profound impact on civilians, placing their lives in immediate danger. The situation, already dire, has only worsened with each bombing, escalating the crisis further.
Our main objective is to make visible, raise awareness, and train the population in first aid, basic life support, and hemorrhage control, as well as to collaborate with the different emergency services, public or private, including security forces and bodies of the state where we are, whenever they require it, to assist the population. We cannot remain passive in the face of what is happening, this is why we are involved and put all our available means at the service of the Ukrainian civilian population, focusing our sights on a group that is more than vulnerable and heroic to at the same time.
